Acquaintance with Technical Support Section
By the late 1379 (2000), when the first BTS systems manufactured by MCT entered Mobile Network, it was felt that there is a necessity of establishing a section in order to provide after sale service for the network capable of commissioning, maintenance and optimization of the systems manufactured by this company. Therefore by selecting a number of experts from MCT research and production units, the technical support section was established. But in addition to providing after sale service there was another task to be undertaken by this section, which was to support research due to research nature of MCT company and it was arranged for the technical support section to act as an assistant of the research section to collaborate in optimization of planning and functioning of the systems manufactured by MCT company.
So it can be briefly mentioned here that The Technical Support Section of MCT consisting of two sections of technical support and research support from the time of its establishment until now has been dynamically active employing highly skilled expert personnel.
Samples of activities of this section until now:
1- Commissioning and maintenance of over one thousand MCT BTS sites and 22 MCT BSC sites in 14 provinces of the country (it must be explained here that hardware troubleshooting operations on the MCT system is ‘On Site Support’ basis implemented directly by the technical support section).
2- Swap of the sites of an overseas manufacturing company and creating an integrated and coherent pilot network in Mazandaran province and its related optimization and maintenance.
3- Close cooperation with research section for planning new version BTS ad BSC systems in this section.
4- Managing six million numbers project rollout of the Mobile Communications Consortium by the MCT Company (this project rollout is initiated from Fars province and will also commence gradually in the 5 other provinces).
5- OMC unit of MCT was also part of technical support section until 1386(2007), which on that year with the establishment of Network Control section it was

Internal Production, MCT and facing challenges ahead

We would like to discuss certain issues through a number of papers entitled as “ Internal Production and its role “, “ MCT and facing challen ges ahead “ and “The Path of Development and Progress of MCT”
God willing and providence with a firm determination of the managers along with the effort and vigor of the employees, MCT Company has been able to establish its stature as a unique Iranian Company in the field of High Technology as a manufacturer of BSS Cellular Mobile Network equipments and attain the emblem of THE FIRST IRANIAN BRAND accordingly.
At present moment MCT has installed and operated its manufactured BSS equipments (BTS, BSC, TRC, OMC)in more than ten provinces of the country.These equipments provide coverage over the vast span of beloved Iran,in mountainous and high lands,steppes, deserts, and also coastal lines of the north and the south,planned and ma nufactured consistent and suitable with Iran’s native conditions.
